We DO NOT test our finished products or our ingredients on animals or contract a third party for testing and we do not sell our products in China.

Are your Lip butters Palm oil free?

Yes!
we avoid palm oil and other palm derived ingredients at all costs. The stearic acid we use comes from olive oil.

Are your Lip butters vegan?

Yes!
We only use natural plant based waxes, butters and emollients.
All of our colours are carmine free and do not contain any coal tar.

How long will my Lip butter last?

All our lip products have 12 months use after opening recommendation. We also advise that you keep your lip butter in a cool dry place. All of our Lip butters contain natural preservatives to ensure your safety.

Are your tube compostable?

Yes!
The great thing about our lip butter packaging is that they are designed to be planted. See our planting advice page for details.

Will my Lip butter melt in warm weather?

You may find a slight fluctuation in the solidity of your lip butter due to our ingredients being unrefined, chemical and additive free. To prevent your lip balm from melting, store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. In summer, we recommend you avoid keeping your lip butter in your pocket or the car. If you find that it does melt, simply place your lip butter in the fridge to solidify. Your lip butter will return to its solid state when the temperature decreases.

What flower will my tube grow into?

Currently all of our tubes are made with Centaurea cyanus seeds, these are commonly known as cornflowers.
We have specifically chosen these seeds as they provide an excellent food source for our local bees.

My lip butter feels grainy, is it safe to use?

If you feel that the texture has become somewhat grainy in feeling, this is just the Shea butter's fatty acids with a lower melting point solidifying faster than those with a higher melting point.
Your Lip butter can still be safely used and the warmth of your lips will melt the Shea butter back to a smoother state. Because we don't use any chemicals or stabilisers, the change in texture from our unrefined and organic Shea butter is to be expected.

Do you allow returns?

Due to the nature of our products we are unable to offer returns.
We do our best to deliver quality products and some variants may occur due to the fact our products are handmade.
In the rare event that you have any issues with your order please contact us so we can help find the best solution for you.
